Thelma Claire Linz, 97, of Selbyville, Delaware (formerly of Cape Isle of Wight, Ocean City and Randallstown, Maryland) passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 in Milford, Delaware.  She was born October 15, 1919 in Baltimore, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Elsie and Frederick Rodekurt.

She was the wife of the late Harry G, Linz and is survived by sons: Douglas G.Linz and wife, Phyllis, Perry R. Linz, Sr. and wife Margaret, Mark F. Linz and wife Lana.  She was predeceased by son, Ronald H. Linz.  Thelma enjoyed watching her granddaughter, Julie Linz and grandsons Perry Linz, Jr., Andrew Linz, Patrick Linz, Aaron Hudson, and Scott Adcock grow into adulthood.  She was blessed to be a great grandmother to Ava and Noah Linz, twins Paul and Jon Adcock, and Maybellene Maxwell.

In her 70’s and 80’s she visited every continent in the World, except Antarctica.  She celebrated her 80th birthday in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti desert.  When she wasn’t travelling or reading about faraway lands, she was happiest spending time with her family, enjoying a good book and snuggling with the family pets.
