Tami Dawn Layton, 50, of Millsboro, DE formerly of Milford, DE went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Stockley Center, Millsboro. Tami was born in Milford, the daughter of Pam (Smith) Messick and the late Richard Layton. Tami was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister and aunt. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents Walter F. and Rachel (Cline) Smith, and her aunt Michelle Cordrey.

She is survived by her mother and step-father Pam and Ray Messick; one sister Tonda L. Huckleberry; one  step-brother Casey Messick; her step-grandmother Ruth Smith; her aunt Edna Mae Layton, a niece Madison Holder, a nephew Zachary Holder and her extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where friends may call from 11 am - 12 pm. Burial will be in Stockley Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the  Donations Account at Stockley, c/o Stockley Center, 26351 Patriots Way, Georgetown, DE  19947.
