S. Carlton Jump, Jr., 81, of Milford, DE passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Milford Center, Milford. Born July 9, 1935, he was the son of the late Samuel Carlton Jump, Sr. and Beulah Pinder Jump. Carlton attended the Pharmacy School at University of Maryland and was retired from the chemical department of the DuPont Company in Wilmington, Delaware. Carlton was interested in and knowledgeable about american antiques and historical properties.

He is survived by cousins Joe Coleman of Kent Island, MD, Carolyn McClain of Baltimore, MD and Cathy Downes of Centreville, MD; as well as many good friends.

A visitation will be held from 11 am to 12 pm on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where funeral services will be held at 12 noon. Burial will be private in Chesterfield Cemetery, Centreville, MD.
