Nancy A. Bielema, 73, of Milford passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at Milford Memorial Hospital, Bayhealth Medical Center. Mrs. Bielema   was born on May 2, 1944 in Washington D.C. to the late Jack and Eileen Godo. Mrs. Bielema moved to Delaware with her husband Dale, and was a waitress at the Milford Diner for many years where she enjoyed her regular customers as well as meeting new people.  She was a member of the Milford V. F. W. Ladies Auxiliary and the Milford Senior Center.   Mrs. Bielema was an avid animal lover, enjoyed flowers, cooking her favorite meals for her family, keeping up with and discussing current events, shopping at the local thrift shops, and having lunch with friends at her favorite restaurants. She loved everything about celebrating the Christmas Season. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Larry Godo and a granddaughter.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Dale R. Bielema; daughter Debra Rhoades and her husband Robert of Laurel, MD; son Robert Grimes and his wife Heather of Myrtle Beach, SC, son Ken Tyler of TN; sister Mary Fulford and her husband Barry of Pensacola, FL, Jean Bochniewicz and her husband Richard of Oxon Hill, MD; and 9 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests you bring an unwrapped toy to be donated to the “Toys for Tots” program.
