Laura Belle Poore Layton, 94, of Harrington went to live with Jesus on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016 in Milford Memorial Hospital. Laura was the owner of Hollywood Baby Shop in Harrington for several years. She then went to work at the DuPont Seaford Plant as a forelady before becoming the manager of Wollastons Dress Shop in Harrington. She was an active member of the Harrington Moose Lodge #534, the American Legion C.K.R.T. Post #7 Ladies Auxiliary of Harrington and was the founder of the Harrington Widows Club in 2004. She was preceded in death by her loving husband William "Ted" Layton and many brothers and sisters. 

She is survived by her daughter Lynda L. Anders of Lansdale, PA; two grandchildren Ted Anders and his children Sadie and Sawyer, all of Cincinnati, OH and Jenna Lyn Bergstresser and her children Emma, Gavin and Samuel, all of Trumbauersville, PA.
