Joshua Wesley Vaughn, 40, of Georgetown, DE passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Joshua was born in Milford the son of John W. Vaughn, Jr. and Charlotte (West) Vaughn. He was a graduate of Seaford High School and Delaware Technical and Community College with an associates degree in Biomedical Technology. Joshua lived in Germany for a year before coming home to complete his studies. He began his career as a Biomedical Equipment Technician working at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes for 7 years before moving to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD, working for Horizon CSA up until he became ill. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church and of the N.R.A. He was preceded in death by his sister Victoria Lorraine Vaughn in 1971. 

He is survived by his mother Charlotte Vaughn; his father John W. Vaughn, Jr.; his two brothers John W. Vaughn III and Jason W. Vaughn and his fiancee' Christina Medford; one nephew Jason W. Vaughn, Jr. and one niece Jordan W. Vaughn.

A viewing will be held from 12 to 1:30 pm on Saturday, July 30 at the McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce Street, Harrington where a funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm.
