Glenn M. "Duke" Reed, 65, of Wilmington, DE passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, DE. Glenn was born in Wilmington, the son of the late Earl J. Reed, Sr. and Dorothy (Wilson) Reed. He was a construction worker and truck driver. He attended the Emmanual Church in Wilmington. Glenn was an avid motorcycle rider, with his cherished Harley Davidson his motorcycle of choice. He was a devoted member of the Christian Motorcycle Club (CMA). He was also an avid New York Yankee fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Alice in 2001.

He is survived by his daughter Dorothy Reed Sterling and her husband Trey, of South Carolina; two grandchildren Austin and Alice; one step-son David Tingle, of Philadelphia, PA and one step-daughter Mandi Poore - Rando, of South Carolina; two brothers, his twin brother Gerald Reed, Sr. and his wife Becky, of Dover, with whom Glenn lived during his illness, and Earl J. Reed, Jr. and his wife Janet, of New Castle; three nephews Jeff, David and Gerald, Jr. and two nieces Susan and Melissa.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Bayada Nurses, the doctors, nurses and staff of the Helen Graham Cancer Center at Christiana Hospital and to the Nurses at Delaware Hospice for their kindness, caring and comfort they provided Glenn during his illness.

A Celebration of Glenn's Life will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Freedom Biker Church, 22 Parkway Circle, Suite #8, New Castle, Delaware. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE  19963. Arrangments by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford, DE.
