Brenda M. Draper

Brenda M. Draper, 77, of Milford, DE passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Milford Memorial Hospital, Bayhealth Medical Center. Brenda was born in Milford, DE the daughter of the late William J. and Ella Marie (Wilkins) Clendaniel. She was a homemaker. Brenda was a member of the Slaughter Neck U.M. Church when she was growing up and then became a member of Avenue U. M. Church once she was married. She was a former member of the Milford Jaycees. Brenda enjoyed watching her soaps in the afternoon, especially General Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, for her family was the world to her. The light of her life was looking forward to baby sitting her grandchildren Hailey and Wesley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Kenneth Draper in 2014 and a brother Billy Clendaniel.

She is survived by her 4 children Rachelle Baynard, Pamela Galyean, Clarence K. Draper, Jr. (Darlene) and Gregory L. Draper (Theresa); 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; a niece Gail Stallings (Mike); a dear friend whom she considered as a sister she never had, Barbara Brittingham (Bo); and her beloved dog Shotzie, who will miss Brenda very much.

A Celebration of Brenda’s Life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Avenue United Methodist Church, 20 N. Church Street, Milford where friends are invited to visit with the family from 1 – 2 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in memory of her husband Ken Draper to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE  19963. Arr. by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford, DE.
